With the opening and operating of the intercity passenger dedicated line, the intercity passengers put forward higher requirement of transportation service quality. Drawing higher stability of train diagram to improve anti-interference ability has become a matter of concern. In this paper, from the three major factors of train diagram stability- the train running interference, buffer time, structure, put forward the computer simulation and the mathematical model to optimize train diagram stability. The main work and conclusions are as follows:(1) Detailed analysis the three major factors of train diagram stability. Establish the evaluation index system of rain diagram stability, and analyze the three major factors of train diagram stability- the train running interference, buffer time, structure. Put forward with the tracking interval matrix showing the structure of train diagram. The mathematical formula is used to describe how to derive the initial tracking interval matrix from the stop plan matrix, and calculated the train paths balance and the average tracking interval to judge the stop plan matrix.(2) Used mathematical formula to describe the train delay time transmission. Analyzed the train longitudinal transmission from line buffer time and interference. Then, analyzed the train horizontal transmission from the longitudinal delay time and tracking interval time. Finally, derived the procession of delay time t(i,j) transmit to t(i+l,j+l).Based on this, analyzed the setting process of the line and space buffer time.(3) Put forward using the computer simulation and the mathematical model to optimize train diagram stability. Combined the train delay time transmission, derived the figure train paths and the performance train paths, and used the matlab software programming shop drawing the figure and performance train diagram. Based on this, combined stability evaluation index system to establish stability optimization simulation platform and stability optimization double-layer model, objective function, constraint condition and algorithm are given.(4) Taking Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Passenger Line as an example, using two methods to study stability optimization. Using the computer simulation method to get some conclusions:the station buffer time set in the middle section, the interval buffer time according to increasing layout, the space buffer time group set by the criticality of train paths, etc. Using genetic algorithm to solve the mathematical model, get the best buffer time layout plan to ensure train diagram stability under different capacity, travel speed.
