Train speedcomfort andsafety of Passenger Line have beengreatly improvedcomparedwiththeexisting line. As train punctualitybecomethe highest requirementsofpassengers, Guarantee higher trainpunctualityrate hasbecomeathorny issue. To ensure Passenger Line trains’punctualityandreliability, in fact, to produce ahigh-quality train time table, thebuffer timesettingisan important factortodecidethequalityofthetrain time table.For the time table structure of inter-city passenger line,quantization of train interference, buffer time layout optimization and other issues in-depth research and discussion, the main work and conclusions are as follows:(1) forinter-city passenger line time table buffer time-related concepts do a systematic study.This paper defines the concept of time redundancy, classification, causes, mechanism of action,analyzes capabilities, train travel speed, run chart balance and other effects when the coexistence of different beffer times in train time table.Study found that the time interval redundancy and time redundancy coexistence between the lines, redundant time interval should be set to run at a high speed train line, the train unit set time interval occupied by small, high capacity utilization.The station redundancy redundant time and interval time was set to run in two adjacent lines can effectively alleviate the ability influence, when preceding train set the time interval redundancy, in across the train set the station redundancy time and both of them are equal, time table structured redundancy becomes minimum and capacity of the whole time table with minimal impact.Finally, we discuss the relationship of the buffer time, train running interference and time table performance.(2) This paper do a quantitative study about trains running interference and interference time propagation in the running line.zhe paper discusses the concept of train running interference, causes and characteristics, and from the point of view of the probability quantifies train running interference time,Trains running interference time can be used to describe by the distribution of β. As propagation time of train running interference alone train line will produce cumulative, this article details quantifies the train running interference on time table horizontal and vertical transmission.(3) This paper establish a buffer time layout optimization method.First, considering two implications of the buffer time which are from the train time table stability and travel time. The paper established minimum weighted time table stability and "superfluous redundancy time" as the objective function which is a single-objective programming. This model guarantees that on a no delay probability buffer time and on delays the probability train running line deviation weighted minimum.Usingabove-mentioned buffer timeoptimizationtheory, taking Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Passenger Lineas a example, the paper found usingthis methodcanimprove the performance of timetable to some extent, In addition, the convergence of the algorithmis very good,time and space complexityis not high.
