Among all kinds of constructions already built or under construction, the masonry infilled RC frames is one of the most widely used types. In order to meet the requirements of architectural design, the filling wall are often set openings. Scholars have done a lot of experimental research on the seismic performance of the masonry infilled RC frames. However, the studies relatived with masonry infilled RC frames with openings are little. The main research contents and relevant conclusions are as follows:1.Summarizing the experimental study about the seismic performance of the masonry infilled frames, choosing the equivalent brace model as the carrier to research the influence of openings on the masonry infilled RC frames.2.Summarizing the calculation methods of the equivalent cross section width, choosing the method proposed by Mainstone as the basis to determine the equivalent cross section width of the completely masonry infilled frames.3.Using the finite element software SAP2000 to establish finite element models of masonry infilled frames and the equivalent brace models. Exploring the influence of the hole forms on the seismic performance of masonry infilled frames. Through a large number of numerical simulation analysis, according to the principle of the lateral equivalent stiffness, putting forward a equivalent brace section width reduction coefficient calculation method for the masonry infilled frames with openings.4.Based on the proposed equivalent brace section width reduction coefficient calculation method, using finite element software SAP2000 to establish a series of infilled wall frame equivalent brace modesl. After modal analysis and response spectrum analysis, discussing the influence of the infilled wall on the cycle, internal force and displacement, and the results were compared with the current specification.
