| Diversified development of the city and the improvement of the urban residents’travel requirements provide new opportunities for the urban rail transit. The long urban rail transit lines supervening with the expanding of the city scale weaken the rapid advantages of urban rail transit, thus posing new challenges for all-stop operation mode. Express/local train operation mode can meet the travel needs of long distance passengers, and it’s of great significance in improving the service level of urban rail transit, improving the operational efficiency and the promotion of city development.According to the successful operation experience, this paper studied the express/local train operation organization of the urban rail transit. On the basis of the analysis of passenger flow and line conditions, train stop schedule plan and the way of train diagram designing of express/local train is studied. The main tasks of this paper are on the followings:1. The concept of express/local train operation mode is expounded; the classification of express/local train operation mode is generalized. According to the analysis of the passenger flow and line conditions of express/local train operation mode, a conclusion that when the time and space distribution of passenger flow are both unbalanced and the average travel distance is long, the express/local train operation mode can be taken.2. The affecting factors of train stop schedule plan such as travel time and proportion of express/local train are analyzed systematically. The results show that when the proportion of express/local train is 1:1, the capacity of the line reduced to the minimum.3. The influences of the express/local train stop schedule are analyzed in the aspects of passengers and the operating companies separately, and the results show that express/local train operation mode can shorten the overall passenger travel time and reduce operating cost. Based on maximizing the overall passenger travel time savings and the operating cost savings, an optimization model to optimize the express/local train stop schedule is established, and a corresponding algorithm is designed to calculate the model.4. Several key problems in designing the express/local train diagram are analyzed in depth. According to the analysis of the passenger flow of urban rail transit, the conclusion that the express, local trains run periodically in the same time period can be found, and based on this, a way of express/local train diagram designing that it can be designed periodically in the same time period is put out. |
