Based on the self loading sanitation trucks and the structure of the compression truck, self loading sanitation truck with pusher is built with simply push plate in the cargo body. At present, this kind of truck is widely used in the integration of urban and rural sanitation projects, especially the truck developed in this article, which has broad market prospect. The appropriate chassis was chosen according to the need of jacket. The paper focused on designing the lifting institution, the rear cover and the pusher plate. The lifting institution can lift and land the trash can, the rear cover was smoothly opened and closed, and the pusher plate was pushed and reserved, which realize the rubbish collection, transportation and dumping. The content of the article was as follows:1. A chassis was finally selected depending on the needed parameters, which are rechecked to meet the need of jacket. Follow special vehicle design requirements, the self loading sanitation truck with pusher can complete trash can properly lift up and down, the rear cover opened and closed, the pusher pushed and reserved to achieve waste collection, transportation and dumping.2. Lifting institution, back cover, pushing plate were motion analyzed to ensure the upload function to achieve, which confirmed the rationality of the jacket design. The torsion spring was checked and its fatigue life can’t meet the requirements, thus select the torsion spring of different material, different parameter to meet the required fatigue life. The hydraulic system of lifting institution and back cover mechanism was rechecked, which demonstrated that the design of hydraulic system meet the requirements of the agencies.3. The push plate was finite element analyzed and stress relatively centralized in upper position of the push plate where weld jointed, but the maximum stress was in the permitted range. The overall push plate exist the problem of excess material, thus lighten the push board is essential. But the lighten design model appear obvious stress concentration, the model was optimized and then finite element analyzed, the stress concentration decreased and obtain a reasonable push plate structure.
