When it comes to the railway passenger transport, increase of human flow and strong convenience demand of passengers make it hard for the original train station to suit the development of new situation, so it is in urgent need to transform or upgrade to Plaza meet the travel needs of passengers. Railway station is the landmark of a city, and is vital for the development and image promoting of the city. Therefore, the people-oriented principle should be taken as a principle in the construction, and green and environmental protection ideas should be taken into railway station and the surrounding buildings to design plaza with regional characteristics and cultures. Thus railway station square may play as the window for cultural transmission and enhancement of sense of belonging of passengers. Its influence in the symbol of regional landscape grow.At present, domestic railway station square is too obsessed with economic value, and rarely able to embody regional cultural characteristics, and the academic research in this field is still not deep enough. There isn’t any complete theory or effective practical experience. In this paper, the regional psychology, semiotics and related theories were taken as the research foundation. An In-depth study for the landscape design of the area of the station square of Yinchuan railway station was taken to finds the problems. By the research of geographical features, history, culture and regional characteristics of the city, mining can fully display characteristics of urban railway station square in front of the landscape, and to summarize the new station square to highlight to the regional characteristics of the landscape design ideas and methods to determine the principles and requirements of the Plaza building, the train station plaza construction problems and puts forward some measures to improve the, enrich and improve the railway station square in front of the landscape design theory. it provides theoretical basis for landscape design and practice in the future design of Plaza Park in train station. |
