Research On The Actitivity Space Of Suzhou Garden In Ming Dynasty Based On The Garden Diagrams

The traditional Chinese landscape painting art is closed related to the classical gardens. The Garden diagrams is an important factor,which can effect the creative of landscape art. Most of the current researches focus on the classical art of origin, creative skills, the way to appreciation, or focus on aspects of relationships between the artistic and aesthetic. Even though the human behavior in garden diagrams is involved, but there is no systematic exposition about it. The study about relationship between the activity and space, can help us deepen the understanding of garden, painting, and the influence to each other.This paper will pick up seven books of <the Contents of Chinese art ? painting >as my scope of the study, which contains the Atlas of Sui-Tang to the Ming dynasty. Based on the analysis of the garden diagrams in the seven books and document about them, combined with graphic colophons, poetry, prose, we can analyze the motivation, form and content of the landscape diagrams. The core content of this paper is divided into three parts. At first, according expression of different thrust and aesthetic ideal, garden diagrams are divided into five big class, the behaviors in garden diagrams are also summed up. The behavior activities in garden diagrams and the space elements of expression in different of times rendering different characteristics. The second part of this paper from respectively of behavior people, vertical space, space elements to analysis the development rheological of garden space in the garden diagrams. Third part has described scholar aesthetic features of Ming dynasty. At last, through interpret works on Ming dynasty Suzhou of painter of garden diagram, this paper expatiates the classification of behavior and space, analysis scholar in Garden space in the of activities needs, and states the characteristics of the space in the garden diagrams.
