Soldier pile wall strut has emerged as an important way of retaining and protection for excavations,widely applied to various excavation works,as it can be applied to a variety of excavations and soil. The arrangement of strut plays a key role for retaining and protection system.Appropriate arrangement can not only increase stability of excavations,but also to facilitate the construction of excavations.Topology optimization as a more advanced optimization methods,formal structure of the object can be changed in the conceptual design level structure,enabling a greater extent material savings.Using the topology optimization to optimize the design the strut planar form,it will make strut and sretaining and protection structure to achieve maximum economic benefits to meet the regulatory requirements under the premise.In this paper, we will use topology optimization of continuum structure means to study the strut planar form as following research aspects:(1)According to《Technical specification for retaining and protection of building foundation excavations》,soldier pile wall subjected active earth pressure use Rankine earth pressure theory,passive earth pressure is replaced by soil spring,Soil spring stiffness coefficient use the elastic pivot points to calculate;(2)According to the requirement of《Technical specification for retaining and protection of building foundation excavations》,proposed a set of principles and methods of finite element analysis for soldier pile wall strut retaining and protection structure calculation model;(3)Topology optimization based on ANSYS,this section describes the topology optimization idea of soldier pile wall strut,and the way to select the method parameters;(4)Supported by a specific example within strut,combination of three conditions of the study,make the presentations within a single topology optimization strut and multilayer strut project.After the topology has been significantly optimized topology optimization form;(5)Using the methods described herein,optimization for a specific project examples,Obtain the topology optimization form,to compare the original design,showing the superiority of this method;(6)Based on this method of expansion,proposed several follow-up study plans,not onle can improve for the continuous improvement of the method,it can also be combined with the characteristics of engineering scheme comparison.
