The present fire extinguishing operation requires look to the fire in order to save work, which is east to damage people. As a result, collecting environment information of fire fighting vehicle based on electromechanical transformation in order to ensure the fire-fighting operators can see the fire in a safe area is of great significance. In this paper, as the main control core, STM32F407 is used to build the environment information collection system.1. The hardware circuit was design for environment information acquisition system based on STM32F407. It includes STM32F407 core circuit, power supply circuit, network interface circuit, ov2640 camera interface circuit, TF-M wind speed and HK-D wind direction sensor interface circuit and RS485 module PTZ control circuit.2. The software was designed. It includes completed processor and protocol stack of Lwip transplant to μC/OS-Ⅱ, with the processor as the server and the PC as the client established connection on socket. At the same time the driver of the module of OV2640 video acquisition, the collection of wind speed of TF-M and the wind direction of HK-D, and the control of PTZ were designed.3. The function of the network communication and the environment information acquision of the overall system had been tested, including the vedio image, data of the wind speed and direction, which were shown on the PC. The PTZ sent the command to the controller and made the PTZ to spin. The send and receive transmission functions of the data of information through socket interface were achieved.Based on the embedded hardware platform of STM32F407 this paper developed a environmental information collect and transmission system. After testing the system can transmit the lossless image, wind speed and direction, while the PC can control the PTZ. As a result, the system can be transplantes to other processor device for deeper develop.
