The composite liners comprised of reactive material(CLRM) is a new shaped charge liner structure,the inner layer of liner is comprised of the dense material and form into main jet to penetrate target,the outer layer of liner is comprised of reactive group materials to increase the penetration aftereffect on target.CLRM has many advantages such as higher material utilization,larger jet head speed and higher reactive material of damage performance than general liner.It is the key point of research on the structure of shaped charge.In this paper, the related theory, simulation and experiment test are combined,the jet formation mechanism and penetration property of CLRM is studied, the liners thickness of effect regularity between the property of jet and penetration was got.The reaction equilibrium composition and reaction mechanism of aluminum and PTFE were analyzed in theory.Related theories of jet formation of shaped charge liner is elaborated and analyzed.By exploiting AUTODYN FEM software,the process of forming and penetrating steel and concrete target of CLRM jet is investigated through numerical simulation.Related results are obtained.In the condition that the inner liner is comprised of Tungsten-copper powder mixture and its structure is the same, the jet velocity decreases with the increase of the thickness of the outer liner when the reactive material is defined as Shock state equation;when the reactive material is defined as JWL state equation,the jet velocity and penetration depth of four kinds of the wall thickness of the outer liners are better, the jet velocity and penetration depth reach the maximum when the wall thickness of the outer liners is 1.2mm,the maximum velocity of jet is 6049m/ s and the maximum penetration depth is 173.92 mm.The penetration property on steel and concrete target of CLRM is measured by experiment.The penetration property of the various kinds of thickness of CLRM is analyzed.The characteristics of the reactive materials causing chemical reactions by the impact are expressed in the experiment,compared to simulations, CLRM obviously gain a greater penetration depth and aperture.Studies have shown that simulated results have been very closed to the experimental results and it can help to guide the design of the CLRM.
