LKJ device is an important control equipment used to control train’s rash advance, over speed, and other emergency situations. With the rapid development of the railway industry, such as, increasing of the railway construction, extending of the locomotive driving route, also the increasing number of locomotives. LKJ data and control software must be constantly updated, therefore, the LKJ data transfer is became more and more significant. Presently, the most popular method used for LKJ data transfer is EPROM disassembling. Research data shows that this method has low efficiency, high failure rate, low reliability, and complex operation. It has great risks for changing the wrong data version and wrong device, its data management is very complicated as well. In this paper, a LKJ data transfer control device that has greater operability, safety and data management capabilities is designed and implemented in the field of practice base. The main work completed as follows:1. Aiming at the existing data transfer problems, we designed a portable LKJ data transfer device. The device is integrated with data storage function, data transfer function, data management capabilities, recording function. To improve the device’ security, the hardware authentication, redundant storage NAND flash, parity error detection and correction, the legitimacy judgment of the document is used. In order to improve the management efficiency, the "key authentication" technology is used. In order to improve operability, add the control buttons and display.2. For the system‘s hardware design, firstly introduced the overall framework of the data transfer device. Then, based on Altium Designer software, each circuit module is designed, including the main CPU module, the crystal oscillator circuit and reset circuit, power module, USB communication module, matrix keyboard module, display module, NAND flash memory module and switching circuitry.3. For the system’s software design, based on the Keil MDK software development platform, each software module is designed, including the NANDflash module, USB protocol processing module, key processing module, screen display module, file format control module, automatic data transfer module.4. For the system testing, the hardware circuit is tested firstly, then the functional testing is performed as well. After testing, the functions of data storage, transfer, and data management capabilities is completely designed and achieved.
