With the development of network technology and computer technology, Service-Oriented Architecture (hereinafter referred to as SOA) design technique becomes more mature, and service granularity design has attracted more and more attention from computer industry and academic world. At present, pipeline information service relies on the issuing and sharing of pipeline data, and service-oriented pipeline spatial data sharing system plays a significant role in industry application. However, in the Meishan project for general investigation, surveying and mapping, and information system construction of gas pipeline, as pipeline data grows continually, it’s difficult to meet users’requirements in efficiency if we just count on pipeline information sharing service with single function and small granularity. Meanwhile, it’s also difficult for simple service mode of large granularity to meet users’diversified function requirements due to the strong spatial correlation of pipeline data. Therefore, combining with Meishan gas pipeline project and taking the influences of service granularity into consideration on the basis of SOA model, we studied the multi-granularity pipeline data organization model and the multi-granularity service partition model, developed the granularity-based pipeline information sharing platform, and accomplished the information system and inspection system of gas pipeline, having solved the key problem of data sharing in the project of pipeline information construction. We carried out specific work as follows:(1) Summarized the deficiencies of regular spatial data organization mode in data sharing model based on service, and built a pipeline data organization model based on multi-granularity for the pipeline data.(2) Combining with the construction requirements of Meishan project for general investigation, surveying and mapping, and information system construction of gas pipeline, proposed a partition model of pipeline information sharing services based on multi-granularity suitable for spatial pipeline data, and implemented the composition method of event-driven based pipeline data sharing service on the basis of multi-granularity pipeline information sharing service.(3) Designed and developed the pipeline information sharing service platform, and verified the algorithm and the model of the spatial data sharing service as proposed by experiment.(4)Based on the pipeline information sharing platform and connected with Map World and Bei Dou Navigation Satellite System, developed the gas pipeline-tracking system and the gas pipeline-tracking management system. Both systems expose their functions such as pipeline map displaying, hidden risk reporting, task distributing and so on.The experiment indicates that the method of multi-granularity based pipeline data organization can optimize the storage structure of spatial data and non-spatial data, improving the efficiency of pipeline data transmission and processing; the pipeline information sharing service designed by taking advantages of the multi-granularity based pipeline information sharing service partition model and event-driven based pipeline information sharing service organization model is more efficiency in service response than the non-granularity pipeline information sharing service; and connected with the requirements of the gas pipeline construction project of Meishan, we developed the pipeline information sharing service platform based on multi-granularity with the algorithm as mentioned above. It proves that the method as mentioned is feasible after application and verification by the gas company.
