In recent years, the fastest and the largest urbanization development happened in our country. But a series of environmental problems has been spawned along with the continuous growth of the population and urban scale.The changing of surface coverage which caused by urbanization development, can brings to various ecological environment disasters, such as the severe shortage of water resources, river pollution, the rain water disasters happened frequently. And it brings a huge loss to all aspects in the city. In 1997, the rain has reached about 11 billion cubic meters. It can be a tough threaten, and also be the conditions of development. At present, our country has formulated some development strategies about sustainable utilization of rainwater resources, so the scientific management is an important step of the rain flood development. How to treat and use rainwater resources scientifically is a difficult challenge in front of us.This paper selected residential community area as the research target, because of the largest covering of the city,the green coverage area is guaranteed relatively, and the rain flood reform of the residential community can produce direct benefit. This article intends to combined sustainable facilities with residential area landscape optimization。So classify and sort the matters of residential area sink surface type and combination of the rain flood measures with set, then puts forward relevant optimization design principle, procedure and content. And discuss the most important problem of residential community rain optimization reconstruction in the implementation process.At the same time, discuss wether the sustainable rain flood management measures can be used in the residential area practically or not. This paper mainly divided into three parts, the first part mainly discusses sustainable rain flood management theory and development, sort and classify sustainable rain flood control measures and technique. The second part combs residential sustainable optimization methods and the main sink surface types and their characteristics. The third part is to optimize the design of the simulation in a district of chengdu as a case, And draw lessons from the Xp-drainage model simulation parameters of related research, according to the catchment characteristics such as the study area based on tumble area, set up the rain flood management measures based on Xp-drainage effect simulation model, according to the conclusion that take feasible measures. Finally, give reasonable suggestions for how to make the concept of sustainable rain flood management method used in the residential community landscape design, makes the design more reasonable.
