With the continuous development of society, energy shortage and environmental pollution problems become increasingly serious, as a kind of clean and renewable energy, biomass energy has received wide attention and research in many countries around the world. Aimed at the characteristics of biomass energy miniaturization and distributed, the small CCHP system is designed for China. The CCHP based on the principle of energy cascade utilization, can provide users with cold, hot and electric energy, also can improve energy efficiency. This article mainly research effective control of biomass gas internal combustion generator, developed an integrated controller which has the function of speed and voltage control.This topic is derived from the "863" project "New efficient biomass gas engine-generator sets research and CCHP demonstration application", designed and developed an integrated controller for biomass gas internal combustion generator based on μCOS-II. The paper focuses on the following contents:Firstly, briefly introduced the control requirements and control algorithm about the biomass gas internal combustion generator controller. Through analysis the control characteristic of speed governor, voltage regulator in current generator control system, combining the advantages of biomass gas internal combustion generator controller, propose a control method which can improve control efficiency, based on PID by voltage and current compensation.Secondly, analysis the function requirements of biomass gas internal combustion generator, based on the traditional generator controller, increase the speed adjustment function, voltage regulating function. So that can solve the problem of single function, poor coordination about traditional controller. In view of the biomass gas composition complex and combustible gas wave obviously. designed of biomass gas inlet control function, in order to enhance the applicability and anti-interference performance.Thirdly, detailed introduce the design proposal of software and hardware about biomass gas internal combustion generator controller. Described the circuit of main control chip module, signal conditioning and sampling module, clock synchronization module, internal combustion engine speed control module, synchronous generator voltage regulation module and so on. According to the requirements of controller, followed the principle of modular design, compiled software control tasks and interrupt service routines which is based on μCOS-II.Finally, considering working environment will have severe disruption of biomass gas internal combustion generator controller, expounded the method of eliminating errors and anti-interference in design and developing of controller. With our self-developed "semi-physical simulation platform based on dSpace and Lab VIEW" as test object, respectively measured start-stop control function, abnormal alarm function, speed control function, voltage control function, communications and display function to verify the feasibility of the control module and the reliability of controller.
