So the residence industry should be the biggest part of international industry plane."(says Sun zhongshan)All these quotes revealed the value of residence.Residence safety is the most fundamental need for residents,because it is the prerequisite and foundation of stable daily life.Safe house and safe living space is indispensable for people’s physical and mental health,for society,economy and welfare.Well designed residential environment and the safety of mental and behavior construct residence safety framework.This paper studies the urban residential building safety design on several aspect:fire safety、behavior safety、protection safety、building facade safety and residents’ psychological safety.The research studies the urban residential building by searching current architecture laws and rules,take investigate data as a clue,seeking to satisfy residential architectural safety design method,to explore suitable safety design solution of China residence.The first chapter of this paper is the introduction,a brief introduction to the present situation of urban residential building safety and the domestic and overseas literature related the content;The second chapter introduce the concept and influence factors of urban residential building safety;The third chapter research and analysis mainly on the investigation of existing buildings in Zhengzhou;The fourth chapter is the most important part of this article,mainly studies on the fire safety, behavior safety、protection safety、building facade safety and residents psychological safety;The fifth chapter is the foresight of urban residential building safety.
