In recent years, under the background of advocating domain transformation and upgrading, Chinese construction industry urgently needs to be changed to the development of high efficiency, environmental protection pattern. With the help of powerful information technology, Building Information Modeling (BIM) is turning the traditional 2D design pattern to 3D,4D and whole life cycle of application mode. What it brings to the construction industry is not only a tool for revolution, but also a revolution of creation concept and ways of thinking. But the development and promotion of BIM technology in our country is fairly unbalanced. The structural engineering of BIM application comparing with architecture, construction management is lag behind a lot. In the process, many scholars in our country is doing more and more in-depth research in the localization of structure engineering application of BIM technology. Meanwhile, they have made a prominent result. At present, in the aspect of structural analysis research scholars are focus on BIM core modeling platform and model transformation between the domestic third-party structural analysis software interface. The research of structural analysis software which is closely integrated with the BIM core modeling platform "Revit" is very sparse. Aimed at the current situation of domestic structural engineering application of BIM technology lagging behind, this article analyzes the localization of structural engineering BIM technology application in the first place, and puts forward its obstacles and some suggestions. Then in the terms of structural analysis, this article explores the "Revit-Robot Structural Analysis" way of reinforced concrete frame structure calculation and analysis of feasibility and localization in China with the structural analysis software " Robot Structural Analysis " which is closely integrated with Revit. In the end, this article studies the reinforced concrete frame structure flat method construction drawing with Revit and presents a project template of drawing reinforced concrete frame structure with flat method construction drawing in Revit.In the firs place, this article discusses the obstacles of BIM in the development of structural engineering in China. Then it analyzes the problems of developing process and presents some suggestions. This article points out the BIM application criterion, application specification is not sound. There are many problems in the establishment of BIM structural medol, BIM structural analysis and achievements exhibition. To solve these problems it needs a integrated and comprehensive strategy.Secondary, this article studies in feasibility and the degree of localization of the structural analysis software "Robot Structural Analysis", in reinforced concrete frame structure. The research shows that Robot Structural Analysis’s calculating results has reliability and rationality in the areas of structural overall quality, center of mass, center of stiffness, period, vibration mode, displacement, displacement ratio, interstory drift, stiffness ratio, shear-weight ratio, the ratio of rigidity-to-gravity, integral anti-overturning calculation and internal force of structure. In analyzing horizontal earthquake action of concrete structure, Robot Structural Analysis is also adapt the engineering application of present domestic concrete frame structure. However, because it can not calculate wind load with Chinese code and has not the seismic internal force adjustment, It can not adapt Chinese concrete structure design requirements completely.In the end, contraposing the problems of the reinforced concrete frame structure flat method construction drawing with Revit, this article has many research achievements and improvements. For instance, it made a batch of domestic drawing standard symbols and notes, created new symbols containing reinforced Revit fonts, produced a new view sample and rebar detail drawing, etc. At last it sets up a project template of drawing reinforced concrete frame structure flat method construction drawing in Revit.
