The landscape differs in thousands of ways because of their different regions. Today economical globalization has been coming. The culture impact coming with it has influenced region culture strongly. People have been cognizant of that globalization and multiplication are two sides of one thing that complement each other, and influence and develop with each other. Now more and more scholars have realized the significance of region culture.Landscape grows in a special region. The regionalism means not only harmony, but also possibility of development base on the natural, social, economic and resource conditions. With information being everywhere, we maybe should comprehend the region culture from a new direction. Landscape architecture based on region culture is much more to be a method to create region characters than to form a style.This paper provides a new method of realizing the value of waterside scene design maximally, through investigating the relationship between the regional culture and waterside scene design.
