Landscape Design Of Forest Ecological Museum In Wuyi Mountain

Mt. Wuyi Forestry Ecology Museum is a significant construction project to Wuyi New District. It aims to realize the protection of natural eco-environment and to solve the connection between environment protection and tourist industry, by constructing Forestry Ecology Museum and peripheral surroundings. The project integrating science popularization education, forestry scientific research and cultural education features Fujian characters, expands ecology civilization construction and promotes the accord development of people, nature and city. It will build a brand new district and will establish a development pattern linked by river and mountain, integrated through scenery and facility, and interacted between mountain and city. This project territory is planned as a space called ’one axis, two wings and six parts’. One axis:the northwest area and the southeast area of the museum are connected into a brief axis, and there are several main spots respectively in the two parts. Two wings:the north wing is mostly about humanity cultural scenery and the south wing is ecological scenery; the two wings supplement each other which reflects an amazing combination of both. Six parts:according to the functional division, the museum is mainly consisted of six parts, they are:theme exhibition space (Valley), central scenery space (Forest), leisure sight space (Field), landscape sight space (Mountain), north entrance transition space (Road), hydrophilic interaction space (Water).The practice of forestry museum project give the world a tip that protection and construction is not a complete contradiction and the highest level of construction is protection.
