Nowdays design mainly focuses on the category of content in form, function, etc. The top-down reform policy make it hard for upgrading to practice. This design focuses on the vertical city function distribution optimization problem, discuss how to proceed from the angle of vertical city,and rebuilt urban villages.This design select shenzhen shuiwei village as an example to rebuilt it. This reconstruction try summarized from the aspects of vertical city, Considering the field problems of shuiwei village, construction problems, to improve the design. Through the growth of the rent to verify the rationality of the design.The research design is divided into five parts:design research origin, site investigation, site selection and design strategy, design, and design results.
