In recent years, the rapid development of the city, food, environment, land and other issues continue to emerge, the skin has become one of the ways to solve agriculture to address these issues. Agriculture is a kind of skin epidermal form of agricultural planting and architecture external interface combine, is built by building the vertical direction of the periphery cropping systems, the main form of wall planting, greenhouse planting, planting, planting greenhouse curtain wall, additional balcony and roof planting, the main use of the building if the vertical space arrangement of crop production. The vertical agricultural planting technology and the skin in the vertical greening is similar, but for irrigation, picking and higher maintenance requirements. The vertical agriculture not only has skin beautifying the city environment, reduce energy consumption, improve air quality, but also can produce edible fruits and vegetables, so the existing form of building ecological facade renovation and surface combination of agriculture can generate an economic and environmental protection.This paper investigates the vertical direction of the traction system, planting hydroponic implant and modular implant system, integrated curtain wall and balcony greenhouse cultivation, and the planting form of comparative analysis, and then starting from the building function and ecological perspective, considering the growth and harvest plants periodically, the vertical agricultural epidermis with the transformation of existing buildings to combine different construction space and spatial location, classified research, and take specific strategies, detailed design, simulation and comparison.
