| Every year in our country, the number of injuries and deaths due to traffic accidents up to 300 thousand people, while the rear occupant casualty estimates about 30 thousand. At present, constraint system matches unreasonable and the dummy occur submarine phenomenon is the rear occupant facing the main problem in the accident.In this paper, on the basis of a vehicle diagnostic test, we establish the car rear constraint system simulation model about frontal impact by MADYMO software, and then research the injury of rear female dummy, and put forward some corresponding improvenment measures:seat belt type changes from ordinary belts to having limited force function, and that the limited force of 5000N is better; The seat frame structure improves to the structure of anti submarine, this improvement has a significant effect on preventing the rear occupant submarine. Ultimately, the appraisal score of rear female dummy improves significantly, while the scheme has been affirmed in the real car test, also provides a valuable practical experience in solving the rear dummy submarine. In this paper, the sum total of study on the subject is contained as follows:First of all, It introduces the status and development trends about the rear occupant protection of domestic and international, and according to the situation of our country, further analysis of the rear occupant safety issues.The second, analysis of a real vehicle crash diagnostic test data, we discover the problems in the new car development process, and point out the possible causes of the rear dummy damage, and analysis of the’submarine’ problem.Then, we build a rear passenger frontal impact restraint system model by MADYMO software, and use the simulation model result comparing with the vehicle test results, in order to achieve the following simulation requirements.We research on the restraint system parameters by using the validated simulation model, and compare with the difference of changing parameters in the simulation model, and obtain the best rear constraint system matching scheme for improve rear occupant injury.The last, we put the best rear constraint system matching scheme into the real vehicle, the results of the car test show that, the best rear constraint system matching scheme in improving the effect of the rear occupant injury is obvious, it is proved that the engineering application value of the previous simulation process. |
