Car seats are one of the most important parts in traffic accidents,and the safety standards in China for car seat structures are becoming more and more strict.Nowadays,there is less research on the rear seats.In order to finally get a seat structure that meets relevant regulatory requirements,simulation analysis and optimization design based on the finite element method for the rear seat of a car is carried out.In this way,the blindness of enterprise design can be reduced,the development cycle can be shortened,and the development cost can be reduced.In this thesis,HyperMesh pre-processor software,Ls-dyna solver and Hyper-View post-processor are used to simulate and analyze the safety of the rear seats,which provides a feasible basis for the improvement and optimization of the seat structure.The specific research contents are as follow:(1)The HyperMesh pre-processor software is used to establish the finite element simulation analysis model of the rear seat,including the division of the mesh,the selection of the unit type,the setting of material properties,the definition of connection relationships,and the determination of boundary conditions.(2)The finite element model of the rear seat is set to load according to the requirements of European ECE-R17 regulations and GB15083-2006 regulations.The Ls-dyna solver is used to simulate the static and dynamic characteristics of the rear seats.According to the simulation results,it is verified whether the seat strength meets the relevant regulatory requirements.(3)A static model equivalent to the finite element model of the rear seat of the trunk is built.The static load applied to the static model is obtained by theoretical calculation of the collision process.The Ls-dyna solver is used to simulate the static model.According to the degree of difference between the static simulation and the dynamic simulation results,it is judged whether the static simulation is feasible instead of the dynamic simulation.(4)The rear seat of the luggage impact is simulated for dynamic characteristics under the most demanding conditions,and the specific scheme of the seat structure optimization is proposed based on the simulation analysis results.The structural design method of shape optimization and topology optimization is adopted to improve the seat structure,and the static characteristics and dynamic characteristics of the improved scat are simulated and analyzed.It is verified from the simulation results whether the strength of the seat structure is improved.(5)The static strength of the rear seat backrest and the rear seat of the trunk impact are tested on a special test bench of a company.The experimental date is compared with those finite element analysis to determine the accuracy and feasibility of the simulation analysis.
