With rapid economic development of China, city traffic congestion has become a problem to be solved urgently. City track traffic has the characteristics of closed circuit, convenience and reliable operation on time, which becomes an important means of transportation of city public transportation rapidly. Because of network operation advantages, city track traffic becomes a major reason to attract tourists and changes the transportation structure. It also causes the rapid growth of passenger flow with a rising trend. Passenger flow forecast is one of the basic for city rail transportation planning, and has an important role in the whole planning process. However, according to the actual operation situation of current city track traffic, the forecast and actual passenger flow is very different, and there is an unbalanced traffic line to a certain extent, which increases the difficulty of city track traffic operation. Therefore, how to use the existing data making accurate predictions of the future passenger flow has become an important method to alleviate the pressure of traffic operations and solve the overload operation of the subway route.Based on Beijing subway as an example, this paper builds the data obtained in AFC system as a starting point, combines with the history passenger flow statistics of Beijing subway in TCC system and Beijing railway train running diagram, designs a Beijing subway passenger flow prediction system on Internet of things and analyzes the station and section of passenger flow in detail. Firstly, the paper describes the Internet of things and passenger flow prediction research status at home and abroad, then introduce the Internet of things technology, city track traffic passenger flow forecast method for site distribution, completing theoretical basis for subsequent system design and implementation. Secondly, the prediction system framework and key technologies of city track traffic is given, and provides the implementation of system overall design. Finally, based on J2EE technology platform of the system, it achieves and displays the main functional modules of the system and analyzes the prediction result of Beijing subway line one. At the end of the article, it provides paper work summary and prospect.
