Since 2013, China Railway Corporation began to implement freight organizational reform, the railway gradually shifted from internal production to market-oriented. The construction of railway logistics infrastructure is the guarantee of expanding market. April 2015, China Railway Corporation proposed the building of infrastructure in Shenyang, and then issued the "Opinions on strengthening the logistics infrastructure planning and construction"(China Railway Corporation Transport Bureau[2015] No. 137). Warehouse is one of most important infrastructure in railway logistics nodes, and it’s also can ensure the flow of goods in railway logistics center. The warehouses in railway traditional freight station mainly served the internal production, so the warehouses’function and work area’s setting are simple. At last, the warehouse can’t meet the modern logistics needs. As a result, how to plan and design railway logistics center warehouse became the focus of the study subjects.This paper relies on China Railway Corporation’s research projects, and through series of site investigations and analyzing data statistics, the following aspects about the warehouse graphic designing in railway logistics center were studied and discussed.(1) This paper analyzes the difference between railway logistics center and railway freight station. From the perspective of warehouse functions, this paper analyzed warehouse type in railway logistics center, and at last determined the warehouse type studied in this paper. This paper proposes the main content of railway logistics center, including warehouse platform and canopy designing, warehouse work area setting and area calculations, warehouse size analysis and warehouse work area layout. This paper also analyzes the main factors influencing the railway logistics center warehouse graphic design.(2) This paper analyzes the influence design factors of railway logistics center warehouse platform and canopy. It also designs the lengths and widths of the platform of warehouse and designs canopy the length which stretched out of the edge of the platform. Moreover, the paper sets up 11 class railway logistics center warehouse work areas, which make use of SLP in railway logistics center warehouse to analyze the work areas’correlation. And then, this paper establish warehouse work area layout optimization model, supported by genetic algorithm. This paper is based on Flexsim simulation working in the railway logistics center warehouse layout plan selection evaluation model.(3) Based on the design of the Huai’an railway logistics center warehouse, The paper design on railway logistics center working areas and calculated the various assignments section area and the length and width of warehouse. According to the chosen handling machinery, the paper designs platform of the warehouse and canopy. this paper also uses SLP and the genetic algorithm to obtain the two better working in the warehouse layout plan, using Flexsim simulation to evaluate the two layout schemes. At the last, by means of the simulation evaluation data, the paper obtain the final plan of graphic design in the warehouse.
