Research On The Function Design Of Railway Logistics Center

As one of the five transportation models, railway is the backbone of our transportation system. However, it has not played the important role as it should. In the face of drastic competition, to develop modern logistics has been the necessary choice. To set the logistics reasonably is the key issue and the break point, it is the important support for the rail logistics.The logistics capacity of the railway logistics center is one of the basic research, which researched by few people, and the people who have researched the logistics capacity have different views, which cause confusion on theory. In addition, it can cause misleading to the practice. At present, there is not unified representation about the logistics capacity because of the different units of them. To give logistics capacity a deep research and clear explanation is the basic and key to the function setting of the railway logistics center.This thesis did some research about the function setting of the railway logistics center in the following points.First, this thesis proposed the definition of railway logistics center, combining the concept and role of railway freight station, and illuminated the difference with the general logistics center and rail freight, analyzed the necessity to develop the railway logistics center.Second, this thesis analyzed the characteristics and influence factors of logistics demand, and illustrated the connotation of logistics demands. According to the marketing theory and different standards, this thesis subdivided the logistics market. In addition, this thesis proposed the standards to choose the target market, combining the market competition situation.Third, this thesis established nonlinear nerve network model for forecasting the logistics demand.Finally, this thesis divided the railway logistics center into transport model,distribution model,storage model,processing model and integrated model railway logistics center on the basis of analysis about logistics demand and market competition, combining the setting goals and logistics functions.
