Research On Determination Method And Evolution Trend Of Shuangtaizi Estuary Coastline

The estuarine area coastline is made up of sea land demarcation and coastline on both sides. These areas are highly concerned by the department of filed, water conservancy, marine and others because of its rich in tidal flat resources and convenient shipping conditions. Besides, the determination method of coastline in different estuary area has become a problem that has not been fully resolved due to the influence of social and economic factors such as topography, geomorphology, water flow dynamics and ecological environment. The project of ―Liaohe River comprehensive renovation planning(the second stage)" that China water Northeastern Investigation,Design and Research Corporation assumed is regard as the basis in this research and the coastline of Shuangtaizi estuary area is taken as the research object, the core elements of determining the estuary sea land demarcation such as Geometry, Geomorphology, Salinity and the effect of runoff are extracted through the comparative analysis of 5 coastline include estuary of the Yangtze River and Yellow River. On this basis and combined with the measured data of Shuangtaizi estuary area and comparative analysis of various factors, the two points of connection of(north latitude40°52’43.37", east longitude 121°45’40.90") and(north latitude 40°52’8.57", east longitude 121°49’32.26") is finally selected as the sea land demarcation lines after choosing the area where river with abrupt widening o and the terrain is relatively stable. At the same time, the estuarine evolution trend of the coastline on both sides are predicted with the application of grey model GM(1,1) prediction method and MATLAB. The result shows on the right side of the maximum pushing distance to the sea is about 490 m by 2020 while the left side is about 340 m, the average pushing distance on the right is larger while the left side is relatively stable. Based on the above research results, the division principles and management suggestions on the coastline of Shuangtaizi is put forward for the departments of land, water conservancy and marine.
