With the arrival of twenty-first Century, the economy has been rapid development, people’s living conditions have been greatly improved, the number of cars is increasing which caused traffic problems also emerged, people began to study and pay attention to more traffic problems, car networking technologies emerge as the times require.Internet of Vehicles concept from Internet of Things. Car networking is in order to realize interconnection car car and car road Internet Interconnection. Wireless access in the vehicle environment (WAVE) is specially designed for network communication protocol in vehicle environment, which has become recognized as the car networking communication technology. WAVE protocol mainly include IEEE802.11p and IEEE1609 series protocol composition. The IEEE802.11p standard defines the standard network physical layer and MAC layer, as the underlying protocol to ensure the reliability of the WAVE system communication quality. The IEEE 1609 protocol is mainly used for car networking system to meet the needs of high-level WAVE vehicle wireless communication.This dissertation focuses on the design and implementation of radio communication network platform, design and implementation of WAVE vehicle networking system, and in the real wireless channel, testing and verification of the system.The main research work is as follows:(1) first introduced the structure of WAVE protocol stack, Including IEEE802.11p protocol, IEEE1609 series protocol and Introduce the basic principle and key technology of OFDM.(2) on the basis of studying the principle of the WAVE protocol stack, the relevant functional modules of transmitter and receiver are designed and implemented, The MAC layer shows the access mode of the MAC layer, the service of the MAC layer, MAC frame format and frame type. In particular, the distributed coordination function based on CSMA/CA protocol is studied. Finally, design and implementation of the MAC frame transmission and reception process. The network layer detailed description of the web service using the wireless information transmission format, The WAVE service broadcast frame WSA, and the packet process of WSM frame, design and implementation of the wave short message protocol wsmp the sending process. Then, a complete OFDM wireless communication system is realized by using Matlab simulation platform and USRP, and the simulation experiment is carried out.Finally, the running steps of the system are introduced in detail, the correlation performance of the transmitter and receiver is tested, and give a detailed analysis of the experimental results.
