In recent years, the rapid growth of vehicles has brought a lot of problems to urban traffic, which makes the intelligent transportation system attract much attention. Internet of Vehicles is a research hotspot in the field of modern intelligent transportation, and it plays an important role in the development of transportation. Through vehicle to vehicle and vehicle to infrastructure communication, Internet of Vehicles can not only improve traffic security and efficiency but also provide entertainment. This article applies the method of Queuing Theory to solve the problem of wireless communication, through the analysis of the model of Queuing Theory, making a research on the performance of the system, and puts forward the model of system with priority. This article combine Queuing Theory and communication service, and put forward a more effective way of wireless access- multiple access. This use the IEEE 802.11 p protocol, and this protocol contains the DCF mechanism and EDCA mechanism, and pointed out that they are based on the Carrier Sense Multiple Access(Collisions Avoid). Finally, through an analysis of the modeling mechanism of DCF, this paper analysis the saturation throughput, and points out that the number of competing nodes(vehicle density) effect the performance of the system. With the increase of the number of competing nodes, the saturation throughput of system will be a downward trend, and the size of initial contention window also has a influence on access performance. So, this paper put forward a solution that is based on the traffic density to adjust the size of the initial contention window, and there is an optimal initial contention window value to make the saturation throughput maximization, through mathematical deduction, then it is concluded the expression of the optimal initial contention window.
