Design And Study Of The Urban Public Facilities In Historical And Cultural Areas

Historical and cultural areas and public facilities are more than an important part of urban structure in the process of urban development, it is also heritage of the urban history and cultural space. For urban residents, it not only provides material basis for the convenience of daily public activity, peculiar geographic conditions and historical and cultural background of the landscape area meet the needs of diversity living. By focusing on the problems caused by peeling and separating history and culture in the process of the protection and re-development of historical and cultural landscape area, this paper analyzes the problems that coordination of historical and cultural areas and public facilities are facing. Application and experiments are conducted through specific design principle, method in public facilities in a particular area, taking regional, historical, cultural, systematic, persistent and other characteristics to comprehensively discuss the necessity and communion in the development of historical and cultural features and public facilities design.This topic is related research theory of historical and cultural areas and public facilities are the basis of this research subject, and by survey the current situation of typical areas in the field of the domestic and foreign cities about the construction of public facilities. The relationship between landscape area and public facilities design and properties classification is analyzed, and the design elements, principles, methods and procedures shall be followed of public facilities in the landscape area are summarized. Finally, take the water street of salt town as an example, this paper extracts the regional symbols that help extend the context of water street, which are applied to the water street of salt town public facilities design.This topic research involves many different disciplines of knowledge. More than being inseparable with city planning and design, protection of historical and cultural heritage, Chinese traditional art, this topic is also closely related with sociology, economics, psychology, material, color and so on.
