| Driven by the rapid development of the nation’s mass transit, the technology of equipment for public transport is in rapid progress accordingly. The automatic fare collection system plays an important role and controls people flow in and out. Its stability and reliability directly impact the safety and efficiency of the mass transport, thus making the research and development of the technology of entrance gates for mass transit important and practical.The thesis studies in depth the automatic fare collection gates for mass transit which not only controls people flow but also collects ticket fare and regarding the lack of intelligence and stability of AFC system, the research focusing on entrance gates’ driving control, sensor layout design, passage logic algorithm, zone recognition algorithm, etc. and solves the current issues of low entrance logic algorithm for the success of intelligent control of gates.In this systematic research of AFC gates’ structure, functions, automatic control technology and passenger transit identification technology, the intelligent AFC system can realize the identification of different flow directions and passenger entrance process, the block of the abnormal and unauthorized pass as tailgating so that passengers’ safe and fluent pass can be secured and mass transit can be controlled.The thesis gives optimized design after analysis of AFC gates on the whole specified at the beginning of this paper and studies with details of the main module features later on. The design of driving and control modules applies traditional and reliable components. The designed system has also been updated after test and trial during the research. |
