By original computation code, the coupling calculation can effectively deal with internal of hollow brick conduction, convection and surface radiation. The_equivalent thermal conductivity of hollow brick have been predicted numerically under exterior insulate condition. The change of equivalent thermal conductivity of hollow brick of different hole number and arrangement under exterior insulate has been observed to emphasis the influence. The simulation results provide valuable date for the hollow brick design under exterior insulate in the building engineering.By using the finite volume method to take discrete differential equation, the algebraic equations using TDMA method and the ADI line iterative method by the coupling relationship between the pressure and speed processing with SIMPLE algorithm, and reached the following conclusion.1. The same heat preservation material coefficient of thermal conductivity, the different thermal insulation layer thickness of hollow bricks equivalent coefficient of thermal conductivity has very big effect. The thermal insulation layer thickness, hollow bricks on the yield of the coefficient of thermal conductivity is lower, the best structure characteristics of increase.2. The same thermal insulation layer thickness, different heat preservation material thermal conductivity on hollow bricks equivalent coefficient of thermal conductivity also have influence. Heat preservation material coefficient of thermal conductivity, the bigger the hollow bricks on the yield of the coefficient of thermal conductivity, the higher the best structure reduce hollow bricks.3. The best of the structure of several hollow bricks, the internal temperature distribution and velocity distribution is different.4. The characteristics of opening rate, the number of holes and arrangement of the thermal conductivity of equivalent also has the very big effect.
