With the rapid development of the automobile industry and the increasing demand of the quality of the automobile products, the reliability level of automobile products has become the most important. In improving the reliability level of the engine mount bracket, it can not reduce the mechanical strength of the structure, so it has a practical significance to study the structure optimization and reliability of the suspension bracket.The engine mount bracket has the function to brace the engine, and the topology optimization design is carried out according to the design space and process requirements, in order to find the most reasonable material distribution. The structure optimization of the suspension bracket can be demonstrated by different schemes in the concept design stage and verified by the finite element analysis and strength testing.In many complex factors that affect the structural reliability, product design is the most fundamental factor. The design determines the reliability of the engine mounting bracket, the defect of the design can’t be solved in the production and usage. At present, the development of reliability technology is very fast, new technology and new methods are emerging, but many reliability technology can not be applied in the design process of the engine. Many reliability theories and models are unfamiliar and not easy to be accepted.The existing design analysis is usually based on the engineering experience of the safety factor method to carry out the deterministic design, which may lead to its reliability or too conservative. In order to obtain the reasonable distribution of the engine mount bracket, the topology optimization of the original structure is needed. The product design needs to analyze the structural reliability, the actual design parameters are almost all random variables, the structure analysis and design of the structure analysis method is obviously unreasonable. Based on the reliability theory, the traditional safety factor method is used to improve the reliability design level of the engine mount bracket, the optimization design of the structure, reduction of the structure weight, the establishment of the reliability optimization design method is the main content of this paper.In this paper, the research object is the commercial vehicle engine mount bracket, and the structural topology optimization, reliability analysis and optimization are carried out. The first chapter mainly discusses the background and significance of structural optimization and reliability research. The second chapter introduces the topology optimization of engine mount bracket and the finite element verification. In the third chapter, the structure of the suspension bracket is integrated, and the structural strength reliability is calculated. The fourth chapter explores the reliability based optimization of the suspension bracket. In the fifth chapter, the experimental verification of the topology optimization scheme is presented.
