| Because of the rapid development of city currently, the high-rise of residential buildings and popularization of dealers transport are seriously inhibited children’s travel and interaction. Coupled with China’s one-child family dominated by the status quo, children’s interaction has become a issue that can’t be ignored. As the most important environment for children learning, playing, and living in addition to the family, how to create interaction place that children can grow up healthy no doubt become the core of the design. The concept of Open Education is better able to promote children’s interaction. This concept is not only the early childhood development which has a great impact on education, but also put forward new requirements on the kindergarten space design. The thesis is based on these significances. According to the analysis of Open Education and children’s interaction, the thesis and then analyzes the elements for children’s interaction space design which should be the main consideration. Finally, combining these elements, the thesis analyzes and rethinks the author’s actual project.The introduction part introduces the origin, meaning, scope, methods and frameworks of the thesis research. The second chapter is the study of background research for children’s interaction space, there are two parts, the first part is the interaction characteristics of children, including interaction way and steps, etc.; second part is the different classification of children’s interaction space. The third chapter is the core part of the article, According to the space cognitive theory and children’s physiological, psychological and behavioral characteristics such as summarizes seven elements for interaction space, and then combined with specific cases for each feature in-depth analysis and summary. The fourth chapter is the project analysis author actually involved in, first of all simply review the project and program, then use the elements which the third chapter summarized in the interaction space for analysis and reflection.
