| Greenway has a history of more than 100 years in America. A movement about greenway of the world has come into being in the last 20 years. Since 2009, planning and construction of greenway start in China from Guangdong province and then spread rapidly. As a new concept from abroad, the organization, basis theory, and approach of planning suitable to China about greenway haven’t been researched deeply and clearly enough, yet greenway have been designed and even being built over cross many provinces of China. It’s rationality and scientificalness need to be questioned.Based on the research on the emerge, history, concept, theory, organization of greenway in American and Europe, also compromise with the studies and cases in China, the thesis tries to find problems in the process of the greenway formulation in China. And also tries to form a new mode which could be suitable to the administration style, traditional philosophy, regional differences and other relevant elements of China.The introduction section first introduces the thesis purpose, main contents and structure. The second chapter is talking about the relevant thesis about greenway of the world. It includes the theory of greenway and also cases in and out of China, in order to draw a conclusion about problems for greenway in China. The third to the fifth chapter is the main part of the thesis. It provides a suitable mode due to five aspects of greenway of China, which are organization, theory, planning approach, design method and administration. The sixth chapter demonstrates three aspects of the China mode through three different cases, which are regional cooperation in organization, multiple goals leading by ecological aim in planning and represent local culture in designing of greenways. The last chapter draws the conclusion and also points out the shortcomings of the thesis. The whole thesis contains about 45 000 words,30 pictures and charts. |
