Research On Planning Strategy Of Industrial Site Protection And Utilization

As a symbol of human civilization progress, the industrial age boasts a glorious history. With the great changes of the times, the social industrial structure changes greatly, and the traditional industry gradually decline. What’s more, a lot of valuable industrial plants have been dismantled blindly or can not enjoy sustainable development in the city, which is now the first priority in cities. Industrial sites have witnessed the splendid history, idiomatical culture, advanced technology and the city development, so reasonable protection and utilization of them have a positive impact on the city’s environmental, cultural, economic development as well as one of the key point to promote the development of city characteristics.This paper starts from the practical problems existing in the domestic industrial sites, making a in-depth research and discussion on the planning strategy of the protection and usage of industrial sites from a relatively objective perspective, then come to the conclusion which can make industrial sites to survive in the modern city and develop in a sustained way to promote the development of city characteristics effectively.First of all, this paper makes a clear analysis of the definition, the traits and the values of industrial sites through the explanation of the related concepts and historical backgrounds, and expounds the necessity of the industrial sites in the urban development.Secondly, it analyzes and summarizes relevant research and practice achievements at home and abroad through on-the-spot investigation or literature review analysis to conclude the related research results and the guidance of successful experience of industrial site protection and utilization both at home and abroad as a research base, and find our existing problems in its protection and utilization with the goal to make the conclusion more targeted.Thirdly, based on the innovation and the existing research results, this paper makes an exploration and generalization of the planning strategy for domestic industrial sites protection and utilization. It puts forward specific protection measures, the reuse model and principle as well as the design method of landscape from three aspects which are aiming at industrial sites preservation and planning, reuse planning and landscape planning respectively.Finally, this paper applies the result of planning strategy for industrial sites protection and utilization to the case of Chengdu Measuring Instruments and Cutting Tools Plant. Based on the deep understanding of its history and analysis of its present situation and development needs, this paper has proposed a concrete design for the plant, builds up an industrial culture park by using the landscape design on the premise of protecting it, and promotes the development of Chengdu characteristics, and at last but not lest, carries out the practical demonstration of its conclusion.
