A Comparative Study Of Suzhou Garden And Modern Painting

Suzhou garden is the most representative of the space in the exiting Chinese ancient landscape architecture, it inherits the Chinese traditional aesthetic in dealing with space, but also with the literati complex.Modern painting has been separated from the traditional perspective, and it has a breakthrough and enlightening significance in the expression of space. The correlation between architecture and painting on the space level become a link in this paper.This paper is divided into four chapters, and analysis on application of their two in space lamination、grid、image hint.In the forth chapter, this paper highlightsthe space expression way with local consciousness,compareand analyze the artistic thinking prototype of the two, provides a possibility for contemporary painting localization.
