The tire is one of the most important parts on vehicles, it’s the only part that connects with the road on vehicles. Tire dynamic simulation is really essential for vehicle dynamic simulation. In recent decades, a lot of tire models are developed by researchers, but just several models are widely used. Uni Tire model is a kind of semi-empirical model, it’s developed by Academician Guo Konghui, he still continues developing it. Tire pressure is an important factor that affects tire mechanical properties, but there isn’t too much researches conducted. Putting the factor about tire pressure into the Uni Tire tire model can improve the accuracy and expand the range. Because of the complexity of the tire, studying the influence theoretically is difficult for researchers, so we will study it by conducting tests about tire pressure, we also use the ABAQUS that is a kind of Finite Element Software. According to the result of the study, we put factors about tire pressure into Uni Tire tire model, that is the main content of this paper:1. The tire test is the main content of this paper, in this paper, we introduce the test machine detailly, we introduce the structure, Technical index and control mode briefly. We design the test by taking advantage of the the test-bed, according to the request of identification of Uni Tire tire model, the test includes five tire pressure, three loads, we will conduct side-slip test and step angle test.The range of the side slip angle from-20° to 20°,the side inclination angle is 0°, 4° and 8°. The side slip angle of the step angle is 1°. We simulate the stable condition by using the ABAQUS.2. We introduce the modeling ideas of the PAC2012 tire model, including the coordinate system, the input and output of the model, and describe functions of lateral force and Aligning Torque. To study the accuracy of the model and the difference between the model with tire pressure and the model without tire pressure, We will use two ways to identify the test data, one way is identifying the test data by using the model that factors about the tire pressure have been deleted, the other way is that identify the test data by using the completed model. Then we introduce the theoretical basis of step angle model, and the way to simulate, compare the accuracy of two models. We take advantage of the relaxation length to simulate the step angle condition, the result will be compared with the test data.3. We introduce the modeling ideas of Uni Tire tire model, and describe the detailfunctions. By analysing and dealing with the test data, we can learn the influence of tire pressure to the tire mechanical properties and parameters of Uni Tire tire model, parameters include friction coefficient, lateral stiffness, aligning stiffness and so on, then explain them by using the brush model. We also study the influence of tire pressure to the relaxation length. We conclusion the result and standardize the tire pressure, then we put factors about the tire pressure into the tire model. Finally we use the complete Unitire tire model to identify the whole test data, the model will be compared with PAC2012.
