The main task of this paper is to account for a question which is the variety of thelateral force when the tire is in high slide slip angle condition. The researching of tiredynamics is the basement of vehicle dynamics. As time goes on, the development of tiredynamics is increasingly perfect. The tire models can be able to predict the real forces andtorques under the tire working conditions, to play a guiding role in automotive development.The prediction accuracy of tire model for vehicle dynamics have a great influence onvehicle comfort and the handling stability of the vehicle. With the car long time running dueto rubber hysteresis loss, the tire temperature will increase. In addition, in sliding conditionwith the friction between road and tire, will heat will be generated, so that the temperaturewill rise. When automobile is traveling especially in the sliding condition and turningcondition, the tire will generate heat evidently, changing the temperature of the tire. Thechange of temperature has a great influence on the change of friction coefficient and tirestiffness, thus affecting the tire by the forces and moments. In high side condition, the testdata of tire lateral force back and forth curves do not coincide. Tire models do not get theinfluence of temperature on tire mechanical properties included, and they can not indicatethis performance. Therefore we consider it is due to tire in the rolling process, thetemperature increases, the mechanical characteristics of tire change, thereby causing theoccurrence of this phenomenon. To solve this problem, this paper will add the factor oftemperature into the tire modeling process, to improve the accuracy of the tire model, andto provide a way of tire model study in terms of temperature. Therefore, this paper includesthe following work:1. The influence of temperature on the friction coefficient and tire stiffness. Making tests to analysis the influence of temperature on the friction coefficient and tire stiffness tostudy the effect of temperature on tire mechanical characteristics.2. Establish a tire model including the factor of temperature. First you need to set up atire model. This paper established a brush model. Then study the tire heating and coolingmechanism so that to establish a tire heat model to predict the temperature of the tire.Finally through the friction coefficient and tire stiffness combine temperature model andconsidering the deformation of casing brush model, tire model is set up including thetemperature factor.3. By fitting the experimental data with the tire model established, analysis theaccuracy of the model. And resolve the phenomena of lateral force back and forth curves donot coincide.
