China is vigorously developing the Smart Grid, and the reactor plays an important role in the power grid. With the wide application of power reactor, the reactor burned will cause serious economic losses, so the accident caused more and more attention of the reactor. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a set of On-line Monitoring devices for reactor.This paper gives full consideration to the current demand of online monitoring technology of reactor, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of different reactor monitoring methods. designs of a monitoring system hardware structure based on DSP, and carried out a detailed analysis and explanation.The purpose of this paper is to study high performance of dry-type reactor on-line monitoring device, the losses of the reactor of the algorithm is the core content of this paper, the algorithm is based on the DFT, the fundamental component extraction based on the orthogonality of trigonometric function can effectively filter the harmonic components.The hardware part consists of measuring unit and monitoring control unit. The measurement unit is responsible for the parameters of the reactor temperature, voltage and current sampling line, and the collected data are processed by 32 bit floating-point DSP controller within the unit.In the end,the calculation results are transmitted through the wireless signal transmission device to monitor and control unit.Final system hardware and software have been constantly debugging, measurement error are constantly analyzing. Finally comes to the conclusion that the device can real-time monitoring of dry type of reactor operation, loss measurement error is + 1%, temperature measurement of absolute error is less than 1℃.
