As one of the important traffic modes to ease traffic congestion, subway has been greatly developed in recent years. However, with the rapid development of subway, passenger volume upsurges, and the congestion of passengers has become widespread within subway stations, which also leads the decrease of station gathering and distributing efficiency and brings security risks. To ultimately ease the congestion of passengers within subway stations, raise gathering and distributing capacity of stations further, this thesis studies the bottleneck identification method for gathering and distributing capacity of subway stations, in order to provide decision-making references for identifying the bottleneck of station gathering and distributing capacity and developing alleviating strategies.The research content mainly includes the following parts:(1) Elaborate the related basic concepts about bottleneck of gathering and distributing capacity of subway stations. And then the facility type and the gathering and distributing process of subway stations are analyzed, as well as the factors of the gathering and distributing capacity. The definition of gathering and distributing capacity of subway stations is provided, also the characteristics and classification of its bottleneck. Then further analysis of the causes of bottleneck of the gathering and distributing capacity of stations are proposed.(2) Determine the identification indicators of bottleneck of gathering and distributing capacity of subway station and propose the corresponding indicator calculation methods. According to the advantages and disadvantages of macroscopic parameters of pedestrian traffic flow and performance indicators of queuing system, choose the average queue length and mean waiting time in the performance indicators of queuing system as identification indicators of bottleneck of gathering and distributing capacity of station after comparison. Besides, the queuing process of passengers in each facility is modeled based on the queuing theory, and the corresponding formulas of identification indicators of bottleneck are presented.(3) Propose a method of bottleneck identification for gathering and distributing capacity of subway station based on fuzzy theory. Using the average queuing length and the mean waiting time as the basis to identify the bottleneck, a classification standard of bottleneck grade is presented. The membership functions of bottleneck identification indicators for all facilities are determined by utilizing the trapezoid distribution and then implement the fuzzy pattern recognition according to the maximum subordination principle. Afterwards, Anylogic simulation software is used to verify this method.(4) A case analysis about the bottleneck identification of the gathering and distributing capacity of subway station is proposed. Take the Fuxingmen subway station of Beijing for example, the average queue length and mean waiting time are obtained through the queuing models of various facilities in the subway station. After that, bottleneck of gathering and distributing capacity of subway station would be identified by applying the Fuzzy Theory. Finally, this thesis analyzes the recognition results, which proved the validity and practicability of the method. Furthermore, some rational suggestions are also offered to ease the bottleneck problem.
