With the development of science and technology, living environment and the quality of life is being paid more and more attention. Besides, in the past 30 years, the focus of research has gradually shifted to the indoor air quality. In the University, being the most important places where students learn in, the classrooms produce the most frequent and most closely outside environment for the students. In general, the average time students spent in the classroom is 3 hours to 6 hours. Therefore, it is significant to study the air quality in the classrooms in the universities and find the way to improve it in order to garreteer the physical and mental health of teachers and students which is of great significance to protect the health of teachers and students and improve the learning efficiency. In this paper, according to the teaching building’s opening time of winter and summer, six kinds of typical classrooms in a university in Tsingtao, a city of China, were selected as the research objects. Moreover, the 3 measuring periods in a day were respectively 8:00-12:00, 14:00-18:00, 19:00-22:00.In this paper, we measured the air quality in the chosen classrooms and committed the subjective questionnaire of students. According to the characteristics of environment in the classroom, temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, CO2 concentration, the concentration of formaldehyde, noise and respirable particulate matters concentration were determined as parameters of typical objective parameters in the paper. The subjective investigation was based on the subjective evaluation of the international standard form, and the air unacceptable rate of indoor personnel and the uncomfortable symptoms were investigated. On the basis of the subjective and objective investigation, grey correlation analysis method was used to evaluate the quality of the air in different classrooms.and the grey correlation degree between the indoor air and the subjective feeling of the indoor air was calculated. In the end, the objective parameters which influence the feeling rate of the indoor personnel with the maximal degree were obtained, and the following conclusions were drawn.(1)In three periods of the six classrooms in winter and summer, the measured parameters wholly exceeded the national hygienic standards in China in some degree, except that the formaldehyde concentration was still in the recommended standard range.(2)It was shown that aiming to the indoor air environment the unacceptable rate and the probability of the uncomfortable symptoms of male students were higher than those of female resulted with the subjective questionnaire survey in summer. The situation in winter was the opposite. And, unacceptable rate and the uncomfortable symptoms of the people who stay in the classroom more than 1h are more than people who stay in the classroom less than 1h.(3)The indoor air quality assessment of different classrooms in winter and summer by grey correlation method, the quality of air quality in the classroom to the classroom, the first to the inferior rank order is: small study hall, small ladder classrooms, large scale ladder classrooms, medium ladder classrooms, large study room, computer room, it can be known that the indoor air quality in summer is better than that in winter by comparing with the correlation degree.(4) According to the subjective and objective investigation results, gray correlation method was used to get the objective parameters that affect the indoor personnel in winter, which is the biggest and the most need to improve the objective parameters for carbon dioxide concentration, relative humidity, the concentration of particulate matter, noise, the impact of summer on indoor personnel and the most need to improve the objective parameters for the relative humidity, temperature, wind speed, noise.
