This paper analyzes the security incidents occurred in the rail transit in recent years.When the signal system goes wrong resulting in changes the scheduling mode to manual mode, the driver’s mistake caused by improper operation causing the problem of security incidents. And this paper describes a design method of the auxiliary system of subway train operation which is completely independent of the signal system.In this paper, the design of the subway vehicle terminal is realized by using the embedded system based on ARM microprocessor.At the same time, combining the Zigbee technology to realize the information of the ground signal machine and the real-time communication between the train and the signal machine. Finally, the operation interval state of the train is provided by the professional wireless local area network, which is convenient for manual operation. The train location information can be extracted from the display status and number information of the signal machine. It can assist the dispatcher to realize the safety dispatching and provide high reliability support for the management of the daily service business.The vehicle terminal uses the Zigbee module to realize the communication with the Zigbee terminal node in the ground signal machine, and receives signal machine display status and number information from the Zigbee terminal node. The signal machine display status and number information will be displayed on the vehicle terminal, at the same time the location information of subway train will be transmitted to the subway special wireless communication network (TETRA).Finally the location information is transmitted to the control center through the special wireless communication network. According to the location of the train, the operation control center will be effective in artificial operation.It is elaborated from two sides of hardware and software, the hardware adopts the ARM9 processor as the core design of vehicle terminal equipment. The memory storage and peripheral circuit are configured, and the Zigbee based signal acquisition circuit module is designed. The software uses the tool of Qt to realize the terminal function of the data update and display, and through the multi thread programming method of Qt, complete the extraction of the signal machine information received by the Zigbee module and the train location and status information to the train. The vehicle terminal ARM host uses the embedded Linux system, which is composed of uboot startup code, Linux kernel, and file system.At the end of the paper, the work is summarized, and the design of the defects and incomplete content are analyzed and described, at the same time, looking forward to the future direction of improvement and implementation plan.
