In recent years, forklift of high efficiency, low cost, high security is common pursuit of forklift manufacturing enterprise and users. Because the design method of analogy or experience were mostly adopted in the past, which had very great blindness causing unreasonable place of forklift structure. Therefore, based on the structure optimization, this paper conducts the finite element analysis and experimental research for the key structure of a forklift, which provides reference for the structure improvement of forklifts.First of all, this paper analyzed the structure characteristics of the door frame and the frame, established the CAD model of the forklift door frame and the frame by using the general modeling software Pro/E. In the modeling process, in order to ensure calculation accuracy, the model is reasonably simplified. Then using the plate and shell conducting meshing by import the solid models into the finite element analysis software ANSYS.Secondly, according to the work principle of forklift truck, proceeding the statics analysis and determined the two kinds of dangerous working conditions of the finite element analysis, the statics analysis solve the load of these two conditions, and then the model is applied load and carried the finite element analysis. Again, in order to verify the correctness of the finite element analysis, the forklift truck frame and the door frame are conducted the inflexibility and strength test. By using IMC data acquisition system test the stress focus point of the forklift truck frame and the door frame in the finite element analysis results, then using FAMOS software analyze the processing data.Finally, contrasting the result of finite element analysis and test data, in the both conditions, the test results are consistent with the results of finite element analysis, so as to demonstrate the correctness of the theoretical analysis.Combining the finite element analysis technology with test, this paper has some of the engineering application value, and has a certain directive significance for the optimizing design.
