Bim Application And Development Prospects In Construction Projects

In recent years, BIM (Building Information Modeling) as a new concept and technology, is the construction industry triggered an unprecedented profound change. BIM can enhance the design, construction management efficiency,and maximize the value of the building to bring new businesses. BIM is changing and improving the government’s policies and contracts, changes in our planning, design, construction and operation of the city’s way, while allowing artificial infrastructure and infrastructure into the natural state of harmony. BIM helps faster and more economically deliver the project,while minimizing the impact on the environment, and provide residents with better working and living conditions. BIM method is more accurate, more comprehensive and more realistic three-dimensional model to represent the status quo and the proposed changes on the ground and underground facilities.In this paper, the development process by starting BIM, standing at different stages of practitioners stand to study the value of BIM in the construction industry; combined with BIM application example, by studying the BIM in the field of architectural design and building construction applications, the analysis of the BIM great value in the building and construction field, and the prospects for the development of BIM were discussed.
