The three level reducer in this paper comes from a certain type of ship turret slewing mechanism. Because of the manufacturing and assembly errors, the performance of the reducer shows uncertainty,which produces bad influences on the naval gun firing accuracy and working reliability.For the problem above,the paper use LS-DYNA displays reducer overall dynamics analysis and provide test data for reliability evaluation.Analysis reducer without the traditional CAE analysis artificial assumption people often use and consider various types of nonlinear factors of the parts. Get the bending stress and contact stress of gears in the dynamic working process. It reflects the working process of the reducer in the stress state and the dynamic performance of the components. Get the data required for reliability evaluation by simulation test for some times.Introduce some basic concepts related to reliability theory and expound the basic way to solve reliability.Select the most prone to failure gear as the main object of study according to the reducer failure mechanism analysis. Determine the distribution of gear’s stress and fatigue strength and calculate each gear’s reliability under the given finite life in the reducer by stress-strength interference model.Solve the contact stress expression tith four nonlinear factors as random variables by the response surface method.An important truncation sampling method is put forward.Its analysis steps and failure probability expression are given. Calculation the concrete examples using Matlab and compare the experimental results The method shows that it is correct and practical.
