| In Xi’an, the land use property of some lots are changing constantly due to the rapid development of urbanization, expansion of the city, as well as the continuous change and updating of some internal functions of the city. Urban parks as an indispensable part of urban life are continuously built or rebuilt in the process of urbanization. They play a key role in pursuing ecological, social and economic benefits, as well as in the beautification of urban environment, reduction of urban air pollution, rainfall flood regulation, and an important carrier of the history and culture of the city. maintaining the ecological balance of the city. In the meantime, urban parks not only shoulder the responsibility to provide fitness, leisure and recreation space for the public, but also are emergency shelters in case of disasters in the city, so urban parks are of great significance to the city. Nowadays, there is a phenomenon that the themes or properties of some existing urban parks can not meet the needs of the new urban planning, along with the updating of the city and the reconstruction of the old districts. The reconstruction and updating of these urban parks have much greater impacts on the development of the whole city, and they have become one important aspect that highlights the problems of a city. New urban parks should be built in the city and the existing parks should be rebuilt and updated to eliminate the parts incompatible with present needs, which is of great significance to urban development, the improvement of the quality of urban space and environment, improvement of the life quality of urban residents, and the enhancement of the urban regional economic level. In this paper, based on the studies at home and abroad on the reconstruction and updating of urban parks, the author adopts the organic update theory, humanized design theory, Post Occupancy Evaluation(POE), urban ecology theory and sustainable development theory and so on, to carry out a case study of Changle Park. From the perspective of urban development, it is explored how to adapt to the urban development and cope with the new problems in the aspects of natural environment, society, culture and economy, as Xi’an is under urbanization. In this way, the author tries to summarize the strategies suitable for the reconstruction of urban parks of Xi’an, so as to provide theoretical and practical reference for the following reconstruction and updating of urban parks in Xi’an, as well as in other cities. |
