Research On Design Of Public Activity Center In Hainan Qinglan Peninsula Coastal Tourist Resort Area

In the last three decades, with the rapid development of architectural form and space, two-dimensional model of traditional applying standard drawings and designing with stages by large designing institute has become increasingly difficult to meet the needs of architectural design. The traditional economic, practical and, where possible, noting the artistic design even cannot meet the needs of today’s market. Architectural design has become the comprehensive thinking and comprehensive service of the follow-up and detailed work across trades and technology sectors.In this paper, taking a building with a generalized form as a typical case—public activity center of Qinglan peninsula coastal tourist resort in Wenchang, Hainan, based on the author’s involved, from the generation of design concept and program, wide coordination of extensive design work to studying details in construction process, until the realization of building construction, the whole process of architectural design is explained, to reflect that the architectural design throughout is how to perform in different stages and details research during the follow-up process.Keywords: Coastal tourist resort area; Public activity center; Whole design; Building Construction;Building material.In case study, combined with the Singapore building field research results and Hainan traditional building forms as well as positive thinking on the relationship between man, architecture and the environment, elements such as base, environment, space, structure and material of the public centre are extensively analyzed; application technology of using synthetic thatch roofing and new wood material in Hainan in the permanent building is focused, and technically supported through detailed construction nodes drawings and built photos; change of influencing factors of architectural design in different design stage as well as the actual response are proposed, so as to express the importance of follow-up in whole design process.In the end, the author reflects experiences gained in the whole design follow-up process of this public activity center of Qinglan peninsula coastal tourist resort in Wenchang, Hainan. Combined with personal new awareness and understanding of architectural design, environment, materials and the technical aspects, understandings of the architectural design from the width to depth are proposed. Hope to achieve theory promotion at the same time bring design improvement in the future.
