With the development of the city, the Earth is warming, the solar radiation affect people’s lives increasingly intense. In architectural design, architectural shading as the primary means of people to resist solar radiation, has been widespread concern by architects in Europe developed country. In landscape design, landscape architect for landscape design in the field of landscape design shading research seems less compared with shading study in the construction field. Plant shading in landscape design can resist part of solar radiation, reduce atmospheric temperature, improve the landscape micro-climate, create considerable landscape and so on. In the country park tourist activity area design of Lingnan region, the measured temperatures relatively worse than weather stations reported, from the climate point of view, it is more need to consider the plant shading design. The article is based on the experimental research and ENVI-met software simulation to explore plant shading effect in country park tourist activity area of Lingnan region.First, from the analysis of Lingnan region geography and climate condition, the paper analyze and reviewe related research regions of shading in country parks tourist activity area of Lingnan region such as landscape design of country park in Lingnan region, plant shading effect evaluation index, outdoor thermal environment research methods.Second, the author investigated and measured some typical country park tourist activity area in Lingnan region. According to the survey data, analyzing and conclude the field need to consider shading design, such as tourist activity center, entrance region, management office and barbecue, etc. for the main paper research object. Combined with case study and the measured data, analysis of plant shading and cooling effect in Lingnan region of country park, sum up shading trees in Lingnan region of country park.Then, select common shading trees in Lingnan region of country park, combined with rhino software and plug-ins grassshopper, for parameterized modeling experiments in different canopy shape, crown size, leaf area, analyze its solar radiation transmittance under different leaf area index, explore the relationship between the shade effect of trees in different leaf area index, and give a suggestion for shade tree selection.Finally, on the theoretical basis and case study analysis, combined with the actual case, in view of the country park tourist activity area in Lingnan region, combining with the measured and simulated experiment to analyze its shading effect. Extend to an actual project in the entrance of scenic spot, combined with the simulation software ENVI-met, set up field model to obtain related data. Analysis its plant shading conditions after completion.As a youth science fund project of national natural science fund, "subtropical country park planning and design of regional study- take the pearl river delta region for example " part of the subject, the paper aims to explore the plant shading effect of country parks tourist activity area in Lingnan region, hoping to play a leading role and guidance for shade system design in Lingnan region.
