Modern society informatization deepens day by day, making not only the demand for electricity increasing, but also the developing electric quality requirement for customers of power grid.10 k V distribution network occupies an important position in the power system, it contact itself between the user closely, besides the level of its supply reliability is also a direct reflection of the degree of development of the entire power industry. Supply reliability is crucial to the power sector, a business index, which reflects the company’s management level, and also the pledge of business pursued.The level of power supply reliability management system become a reflection of network planning, supply capacity, power quality, operation and maintenance levels and other factors of the entire system. By strengthening the reliability managemen and in-depth analysing the reliability index, small hidden chain in the power supply can be found sharply to grasp the health of the power grid and equipment effectively, so as to further strengthen the security of electricity supply and lay a solid foundation.Jiangmen’s economy leaps and bounds, the demand for electricity is also growing rapidly. for the power grid construction, the task is not only to find the existing problems, but also to take into account the development of new problems that may occur. Meanwhile, for the advocating of lean management, power development needs through systematic analysis and diagnosis for factors that affect the reliability of the power supply to propose effective management strategies.The issue raises specific guidance programs though calculating problems in network planning with power distribution reliability software by the research of Jiangmen’s power grid, and builds cost models of equipment and systems in the grid based on full life cycle management as the guiding ideology, which made the idea of scientific and effective network management, and finally points out the work of reference for the power supply reliability Jiangmen’s power grid.
