With the development of social economy and people's life-quality, the requirement to the electric energy quality has been more and more rigorous. Distribution system is the directly connected part of the whole power system to eustomers. Study of there liability of distribution system, which is concerned by power utility and customers, at the same time is an important research direction of power system. The essential objective of the research on distribution system reliability is to provide safety, reliable electric power to customers and gain the maximum benefit for soeiety.This paper is based on"the power network planning of Linxiang City"and"the power network planning of Yuyang County".In theory, based on the relative theories and methodologies, this paper analyzes the structure and operation modes of 10kV distribution power network, the factors which affects the reliability of 10kV distribution power network, the datas of the reliability of 10kV distribution power network. This paper describes the classification and feature which is about Index System of the reliability evaluation of 10kV distribution power network.This paper proposes an algorithm about the reliability evaluation of 10kV distribution power network. The algorithm is the Improved Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, which is based on the division and the network equivalent of the Complex distribution power network. The count of the element of the simplified distribution power network declines sharply, therefore, using this method makes the evaluation more convenient and more efficiency than using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis directly. And this algorithm is very applicable to select the best one in the different alternative plans of the distribution power network. The quickness and reasonableness of the presented algorithm are verified by comparing the value and the counting time of the calculation of Linchengâ…£line with those of tridional algorithm.Switch allocation is an optimization problem of reliability. This paper integrates the Ant Colony Optimization with the Improved Failure Mode and Effect Analysis to plan the disconnect switch of the primary distribution feeders of 10kV distribution power network. This algorithm has been applied in planning of the disconnect switch of Linchengâ…¡line.
